STT GmbH presents its latest product, 3CS® ConGuard HYDRO SURFACE 606, a solvent-free surface impregnation based on reactive siloxane/silane raw materials. This emulsion concentrate has been specially developed for the water-repellent pre-treatment and surface impregnation of building materials such as clinker, fiber cement, curbstones, brick, stone and concrete facades.

3CS® ConGuard HYDRO SURFACE 606 offers effective protection against driving rain, prevents efflorescence and is alkali-resistant. The hydrophobic coating has a dirt-repellent effect and is tested in accordance with EN 1504-2:2005 Class I, which guarantees a penetration depth of less than 10 mm.

The product guarantees long-lasting and reliable protection against penetrating water and moisture, whereby in most cases the visual appearance of the building material is not affected. It can be applied to the building material by spraying, flooding, brushing or rolling.

It should be particularly emphasized that 3CS® ConGuard HYDRO SURFACE 606 does not impair the physical properties of the building material, but fully retains its breathability (sd value).

STT GmbH recommends determining the required application quantity by carrying out preliminary tests and homogenizing the product regularly before use. It is less suitable for less absorbent building materials such as marble.

The product is available in plastic canisters, plastic lidded drums and IBCs and should be stored at a storage temperature between +5°C and +30°C.
